- constraint (n.) something that restricts thought or action
– Constraints on spending have forced the company to rethink its plans.
- villain (n.) a very wicked person
– Some people believe that Richard III did not murder his nephews and was not the villain he is generally thought to have been.
- quantify (v.) to count, measure, or express a specific amount
– We use units of measure called degrees to quantify the temperature.
- dense (adj.) closely packed together; thick
– Dense fog that limited visibility to 15 yards rolled into some areas after dawn.
- arbitrary (adj.) chosen simply by whim or chance, not for any specific
